 Miss Armstrong is moving to Room 11 in Term 4.

Mrs Lemaire will return to Room 6.

Let's Have a Race! - Coding in Scratch

 Today in our Cybersmart lesson we carried on with our racing game in Scratch.

We created a second background and coded our sprites to have a race.

We recorded our voices and added the code into our game.

Some of us used a sprite that we could add our face into. Do you like them?

We also learned how to record our screen on our iPad and save our video to our Drive. 

Coding a Game in Scratch Jnr

 This week in our Cybersmart lesson we were using Scratch Jnr on our iPads to code a game.

We started by finding a sprite that we could put our face into. then we made our sprite move. 

We could make it move backwards and forwards and up and down. 

We made our sprite talk by recording our voices.

Then we learned how to record our iPad screen and play our Scratch Jnr project in full screen. 
We will continue with this coding game next week and add some more to it.

Olympic Games

 This week in our Cybersmart lesson we were reviewing the use of the Inspector Tool and inserting images as a background. 

We took a photo of ourselves and put ourselves in the Olympic Games. We had to use the lasso to crop our photo. Some of us we able to created an action photo so we really looked like we were athletes in the Olympic Games.

We created a podium and a Gold Medal for ourselves as well. Take a look at some of our work.

Our July Holidays

 This week in our Cybersmart lesson we created an Explain Everything project about our holiday.

We had to find a background using Unsplash in Explain Everything. Then we used the Inspector tool to set it as a background so it wouldn't move.

Then we took a photo of ourselves and cropped it using the lasso tool. 

We recorded our voice and moved our photo over the background to make a movie. We had to remember to rename our project and save it at the end into our Drive.

Room 6 Term 3

Here we are in Room 6 with our new teacher Miss Armstrong. She is our new teacher for term 3.
